Dingledodies, the critically acclaimed stand up comedy show hosted by known Brit comedian Russell Howard, is all set to debut on BBC.

The show which was recorded during Russell’s 2009 tour, Russell Howard Live – Dingledodies, will air on the channel BBC Two on 21st December at 11:35pm.

The stand up act includes the ‘Good News’ star’s observations on inane and current issues which could swing from ladies on trains, time travel, teenage parties, Charles Darwin, bags for life, awkward sex, wolf masks, to dressing up dogs.

The popular comedian is all set to start his 2011 spring tour Right Here, Right Now, which is set to be bigger and grander then his last sold-out tour and also includes London’s O2 Arena. Tickets to almost all scheduled shows have been sold-out and additional dates are still being added to the tour.

Russell Howard has also released two live DVDs of his 2008 and 2009 tours respectively, which has sold over 431,000 copies. Both the DVDs hit the top 10 of the comedy chart when they were released.

4DVD has released the first series of Russell Howard’s Good News which is on sale from this month.
